Mobilizing 3,200 young athletes in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah to promote public wellness, youth leadership, and international sports diplomacy.
EVE's Sports Diplomacy division co-organized the Kurdistan Peace Marathon, drawing over 3,200 runners from across Iraq and international athletic federations to the historic boulevards of Erbil.
The event served as an open civic recruitment surface for youth leadership clinics, anti-sedentary lifestyle awareness campaigns, and preparatory trials for Kurdish athletes targeting international competition.
More than 45% of registered participants were young women, marking a historic high in regional athletic participation.
